Mike Bill

Senior Pastor
July 2017, Mike began serving St. John's as Senior Pastor. Mike previously served as the Associate Pastor at Sharptown UMC for almost 15 years,  and serving as the Campus Pastor of Sharptown North for two years. Mike received his Bachelor's degree in Bible and Theology from Asbury College in and his Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Mike loves the local church, and enjoys seeing people connect with God personally, as well as in authentic relationships and community with others. His leadership and administrative gifts, love for preaching and teaching, and his heart for seeing people grow are his primary strengths in ministry.
Mike is also on the Board of Directors at Delanco Camp and serves as President.  Mike is married to Rachael and has three children: Caleb, Elijah, and Isaac.

Bill Yerkes

Assistant Pastor
Bill retired from teaching Vocal Music at West Deptford High School and is glad to be full time on staff at St. John's.  He has been part of music ministry since his teens, when he was at First UMC in Gloucester City. He founded and directed the Trinity Chancel Choir and led worship on Sunday mornings.  For five years Bill was worship leader at St. John’s until the time came for him to devote more time to his family. Bill and his wife Tina met and were married at St. John’s, and are proud to have their three children, Emily, Maddie and Andrew, partnering with them in ministry.

Jack Broomell

Director of Youth

Jack, born and raised in Sicklerville, NJ, he graduated from Temple University in 2017. Jack grew up not attending church but during his freshmen year of college he began attending Sicklerville UMC. From there he started to grow in faith and committed himself to living a life devoted to God by getting involved in the youth and young adult ministry. Jack started working in ministry at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Haddonfield, NJ as the Director of Youth and Family Faith.  He has been on 5 mission trips, two of which were to Guatemala. Ever since he started helping out with youth groups, his heart has been on fire to be in this ministry. Jack plays soccer and rugby, likes to lay down in his hammock and read a book, and play board games with friends. Jack is married to his longtime sweetheart, Kerri.

Stephanie Faust

Office Manager

Stephanie dedicated her life to Christ at age 8. After receiving a BA in Communications from Rowan University, she began a 10 year career as the Local Manager finding TV airtime for Christian programming in Philadelphia.  Stephanie was the recipient of a merit called the TWIN Award in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments as a woman of excellence given by the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Camden County.
Stephanie has been married to George since 2003.  Together they have been blessed with an amazing daughter, Gianna.  In February of 2010, Stephanie began working in St. John’s Church Office.  She adds professionalism to our staff and is skilled in project management as well as in providing organizational and office support to the family of St. John’s.  God is central in her life.  She thanks Him every day for all His blessings!

Tina Yerkes

Director of Communications
Tina has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service.  Tina helped to set up live streaming, maintains the website, app and all of our social media accounts. Organizing events, women's retreats, being inspired by new ideas, crafting & traveling give her plenty of creative outlets.
Tina has been married to Bill, Assistant Pastor, since 1995 and they have 3  children - Emily (& son in law, Bryan), Maddie and Andrew as well as proud doggie parent to Luna.

Heather Schuck

Nursery School Director

Heather is beyond thrilled to serve as the Director at St. John's Christian Nursery School. It was here at the nursery school that she spent so much of her time as a new parent, eventually becoming a member of St. John's and finding her family away from home. As a mom, an educator and a member of St. John's, she prays that each family will know the love of Jesus and feel a part of our St. John's family. 

Jenn Morales

Director of Children's Ministries

Jenn is native to South Jersey.  She has been blessed to have parents that brought her to church as a child where she began her relationship with Jesus.  Jenn’s background ministering to kids includes teaching public school for over 10 years (5th grade, Special Education, and Middle School/High School English), and working as a Children’s Minister.  Jenn and her husband, Rob, have been married since 2008 and they have 3 children: Emma, Eliana and Elías.  Jenn feels humbled to serve God and the surrounding community to help connect children, their families, and volunteers to something bigger than themselves.

Doug Davis

Director of Technology

Doug serves as St. John's Director of Technology in addition to teaching 5th Grade ELA at Loring Flemming Elementary School. Doug was born and raised within the St. John's family and has served in many of the church’s ministries. He began serving in the Tech Ministry in 2008 during his time in St. John's Youth Ministry.
Doug believes the use of technology within the church is a crucial way of allowing the people of God to express their spiritual gifts - and with that Jesus’ unconditional love - to both our congregation and to our greater community.
Doug met and married his wife, Erika, at St. John's. They are the proud parents of their daughter and son, Ellie and Henry. 

Ben Fogg

Facility Manager

Ben is the father of 3 bright future citizens and has over 25 years of experience in management and supervision. He is an experienced substitute teacher as well as graduate from Rowan University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Writing Arts.
Ben enjoys having a good eye for detail, being well organized & setting priorities. Having been a handyman since 2017,  Ben got his start working alongside his dad around his childhood home which then transitioned to other homes, construction sites and now St. John's.
