Jesus Christ has risen from the dead! Let’s rejoice today as one family! We can trust in Jesus; we can live now with our eyes fixed on Him. As we rejoice in this beautiful resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, let’s try to forget any sorrows, fears, worries, concerns, or difficulties and let us try to keep our eyes on heaven. Jesus calls us today to follow Him from that empty tomb and to see our lives as a gift of love that we received from God. He’s calling us to understand everything we do as a labor of love that we offer to God & to our brothers and sisters.
Jesus the Risen Christ is holding out His hand to us. He’s calling us to live a different life walking in His footsteps and by His light. He’s calling us to follow Him on the path of life that he sets before us; a path that we know is true because He has truly risen.
Because of the resurrection we can be sure that whoever believes in Christ has eternal life. We need to let the light from Jesus’ empty tomb fill our lives with joyfulness and true faith. We celebrate the truth of who Jesus is. He is truly risen from the dead and this confirms, undoubtedly, that He truly is the Son of God. This attests to the fact that we can give our lives to Him, put our trust in His teachings and realize that the path He called us to follow as children of God in the church is the true path.
The work of our lifetime is to be witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus Christ with our lives. St. Peter said we are called to bear witness to Christ in His Resurrection (Acts 2:31-32). So, we are called to testify to the difference that His resurrection makes in our lives. We are called to love and to be loved and to tell the world that Christ has risen.
Let us open our hearts to the light of Christ and the love of God. Let us walk with Him in friendship and sanctity. Let’s share His life and help others, especially those in need, so that everyone will comprehend His love & the new life He offers us. This is the joy of Easter…knowing that God loves us.
Jesus Christ has RISEN! Alleluia!
Happy Easter! I pray that you renew your joy and peace in the Risen Christ and that this will be an occasion of love, sharing & hope for you and your family!
