GENERAL
INFORMATION
The Sunday morning worship
service is the central celebration of an active week. As we worship,
our attention is not focused upon a human experience, a lecture or
entertainment, but upon Jesus Christ - his life, death and
resurrection. As the people of God, we celebrate His gifts of
life, salvation, and eternal life. Spirited congregational singing,
special music presented by gifted vocalists, and biblical preaching
assist in a meaningful worship time.
SERVICES
Services are at
8:30am and 11:00am each Sunday. The Sacrament of Holy Communion
is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Nursery care is
provided for preschool children at all services and the Sunday
School hour. The "Worship Zone" provides age-appropriate
instruction during the services for children ages four through third
grade.
The music ministry is an essential element of our worship
experience. Under the direction of our Worship Leader, Bill Yerkes, the Adult Praise Teams often accompanied by our Adult
Choir share joyful praise each week at both services.
Opportunities for children include the Cherub Choir (age 3 to first
grade) and the Chapel Choir (2nd through 6th grade) which also
provide a joyful component in our services. Solo and small vocal and
instrumental groups round out our morning worship services. The
Easter and Christmas seasons are highlighted with cantatas
offered by the choir and are always a blessing to all who attend and
participate.
